RESUMEN

En la presente revisión se exponen las principales mecanismos de generación de especies reactivas de oxigeno (EROs), tanto radicales como no radicales; y como ellos condicionan el estrés de tipo oxidativo a nivel bacteriano. La respuesta bacteriana es múltiple, siendo el regulon soxRS y oxyR los principales responsables de la expresión de genes involucrados en las defensas de este tipo de daño.

ABSTRACT

In the present review there are exposed the principal generation mechanisms of species oxygen reactivate (EROs), both radical and not radical; and as them they determine the stress of oxidative type to bacterial level. The bacterial response is multiple, being the regulon soxRS and oxyR the principal persons in charge of the expression of genes involved in the defenses of this type of hurt (damage).
